Garage & Ground Units

A ground locking unit is a device used to secure a movable structure to the ground, preventing unwanted movement, lifting, or forced displacement. A ground locking unit typically consists of a locking mechanism anchored into a fixed base (the ground, concrete, or foundation) and a corresponding bolt, pin, or latch attached to the moving object (such as a gate, door, barrier, or equipment frame). When engaged, the mechanism locks the structure firmly in place.
Ground locking units are commonly found in:
- Industrial gates and security fences, Roller Sshutter Doors (to stop gates from being lifted or forced open)
- Railway or transport systems (locking barriers or maintenance equipment)
- Construction equipment and scaffolding systems (stability during use or storage)
- Heavy machinery bases (to prevent shifting due to vibration or load)
- Temporary structures (event barriers, portable platforms)
