TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALES

RETENTION OF TITLE

All goods supplied remain the property of the seller (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd) until payment has been received in full on all contracts between seller or buyer for the supply of goods or services. We reserve the right to recover goods at the customer's expense that have not been paid for within our terms of settlement.

PRICES

The seller's (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd.) prices are quoted exclusive of VAT (where applicable). All prices are subject to alteration without notice and the price applicable shall be that ruling at the date of despatch Quantity Prices - 11 - 100+ will only be effective if goods are paid to the terms and conditions of the seller (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd.). Failure to do so will result in the goods being charged at the 1 - 10 ratio unless previously arranged at the time of order with the seller (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd).

CARRIAGE CHARGES

Carriage is payable on all goods unless altered prior to purchase.

PAYMENT

The total amount shown on the invoice is due within thirty days of the date of invoice. Non compliance with Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd. terms of payment shall constitute default without reminder. In case of default Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd may charge interest at the rate of 2% per month from the date upon which payment falls due. In the event that the Buyer shall fail to fulfil the terms of payment in respect of any notice Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd. may in its sole discretion demand payment of all outstanding balances whether due or not and/or cancel all outstanding orders and/or decline to make further deliveries except upon receipt of cash or satisfactory security and/or immediate return of the goods.Post Dated Invoices - No goods will be Post Dated Invoices unless previously arranged with the seller (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd) and also all goods will be invoiced on the 1 - 10 ratio unless prior agreement has been made with the seller (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd) and these invoices must be paid in accordance to the sellers (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd) terms of trading.

ORDERS

All goods ordered must be accompanied with order number and signature on company letter heading either by fax or by mail. Failure to do so may result in the non-processing of your company's order. Delay order will occur if the above procedure is not followed or lack of stock due to manufacturers delay in manufacturing the goods or by by transport strike where we, the seller (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd) have no control over and also if previous invoices for previous goods are overdue in accordance with our terms of trading.

DESPATCH

Delivery time is up to three working days. This does not include the period of company closure over Christmas and New Year. Every effort will be made to deliver goods on time but the seller (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd) shall have no liability for any loss or damage caused by delay of delivery. Non-delivery must be advised in writing within seven days of despatch date, otherwise the seller will accept no responsibility.

DESCRIPTION

All weights, measurements, dimensions, drawings, capacities, specifications and other particulars contained in photographs, catalogues, price lists or advertising material are only approximate. Such particulars do not form part of the contract and deviations therefrom or subsequent changes in design are not grounds for non-acceptance of the products and do not constitute a breach of the contract.

INSPECTION ON ARRIVAL

The buyer shall inspect the products immediately on delivery and shall notify the seller (Italian Locking Systems (UK) Ltd) within three days of delivery of any loss, damage or discrepancy. Failure to do so will bar any claim for breach of contract.

RETURN

We will accept goods ordered in error provided they are returned within seven days of receipt, are in their original packaging, suitable for re-sale and the delivery note or invoice number is quoted, all with the exception of code keys. Code keys are cut individually to the customer's requirements. We are therefore unable to accept the return for credit of keys that have been incorrectly ordered or are surplus to customers requirements. This also applies when ambiguous information is given at the time of ordering. Carriage is non-refundable on any items which are ordered in error.

FAULTY GOODS

Our policy is to replace faulty goods without charge. We cannot be responsible for labour or any consequential claim in respect of faulty merchandise. Neither we, nor our servants or agents will be under any liability in respect of defects in goods delivered or for any injury, damage or loss resulting from such defects, whatsoever and however caused and whether such injury, loss or damage be by direct or consequential means and not withstanding that the same may be due to the negligent act or omission of ourselves, our servants or agents, and our liability under this Clause shall be in lieu of any warranty or conditions implied by law as to the quality or fitness of any particular purpose of such goods. Goods will not be replaced after a period of 90 days.

SPECIAL ORDERS

LOCKS & KEYS

On occasions that we agree to obtain locks and keys from the original manufacturer, we cannot accept delays in deliveries to us from the manufacturer and will have to charge for these locks and keys when delivery is made. Delivery from some manufacturers is very extended and to amend an order once placed can delay goods on order for the customer.

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to any personal data that you provide to us.

We use the information that you provide in order to provide you with our service. The information we collect is used for the purpose of processing your purchase and for the delivery of your goods.

We will not disclose your personal information to any third parties other than in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in the circumstances detailed below:-
(i) Where we are legally required by law to disclosue your personal information
(ii) To futher fraud protection and to reduce the risk of fraud.

All personal data is held in accordance with Data Protection Legislation and the company Privacy Policy. All our customers credit or debit card details are entered on a secured page and that they are transferred using SSL (Secure Socket Layer)
